You will need the Support Account Login information to process the Internet Upgrade route. Once signed in, you can either click the one-click Internet Upgrade button or you can go the Local Upgrade route where you will download the firmware separately and then upload via the button. You can monitor the entire thing from either vCenter (watching your hosts go in and out of maintenance mode and rebooting) or the VxRail Manager interface.īut to kick off the process, you have to go to the Manager UI and sign in. Even though there was a step upgrade possible between versions, we went directly from 4.5 to 4.7 without major issues.
